Croeso to our school website! We believe that every step of your child's education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we strive continually to provide inspiring learning experiences for children.
36 Year 6 pupils spent three jam packed days in London last week, and what a time they had!
After a 7.30 start at the train station, they arrived in London at 11am, excited and raring to go! The London Eye, Madam Toussauds, a River Cruise, Piccadilly Circus and dinner at the Rainforest cafe filled the first day.
Tuesday was another early start, where they were wowed with a fantastic tour of Parliament including a visit to the Houses of Commons and Lords. More sightseeing followed, then it was a trip back in time to the Churchill War rooms.
Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and then off to Covent Garden to sing a Bryn Hedydd favourite 'dyfn dyfn' to a very impressed crowd. A trip to see the Lion King ended another packed day.
Wednesday allowed time for shopping in Leicester Square followed by the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum, which turned out to be far more eventful than expected.... just ask Mr Nolan and Lennon!!
A very tired crowd of people headed back to Euston in the rush hour ready for the journey home.
Thank you year 6 for all the fun! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
