Wythnos Dathlu Cymru - Celebrating Wales Week
It has been a very busy first week back in Bryn Hedydd with 'Dathlu Cymru' - Celebrating Wales Week'.
The children have had lots of different welsh activities to do in class, such as making St. David's flags and paper leeks. The children made leek and potato cawl and thoroughly enjoyed eating it. They got to taste welsh cakes, bara brith and welsh cheese. They did some painting in the style of 'Janet Bell', who is a welsh artist, with some lovely pieces of artwork produced.
They have also been practicising their welsh song 'Dim Smic!' for our Eisteddfod.
