Space topic
We have had a really busy term learning all about space in year 2ST.
We have covered many topics and the children have took part in many different activities such as learning facts about the sun; making information books about space; producing 2D shape space pictures; building rockets and spaceships out of KNex and Lego; creating space pictures on the laptops; painting a sun in the style of artist Kandinsky; making hot and cold planets with craft; creating a moon using printing and stamping techniques; science experiment to see how craters on the moon are made and also some role-playing with spacesuits.
