Croeso to our school website! We believe that every step of your child's education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we strive continually to provide inspiring learning experiences for children.
Year 6 enjoyed our first visit to the beach this year to do some art work today. We are beginning some lessons on life studies and proprtions and decided a good way to start would be constructing life-size relief sculptures of each other in the sand. We drew an outline around our partners in the sand then built it up to make it 3D.
The original plan was to spend the 2nd half of the morning playing sports but we were having such fun with what we were doing, nobody wanted to stop.
We had a lovely day in beautiful sunshine and some of us were even lucky enough to spot a seal swimming offshore.
We can't wait for the whole school beach next Wednesday.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
