Croeso to our school website! We believe that every step of your child's education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we strive continually to provide inspiring learning experiences for children.
As part of our Year 3 topic 'Light and Dark', we have decided to investigate if a shadow changes throughout the school day.
To do this, we got into teams and planned our investigation.
We used lots of skills to do this.
Thursday was the day....the sun was shining.
Each hour, our teams went out to draw the shadow that they observed.
We used a ruler as our object and a piece of chalk to record the line. Once we had drawn the line, we had to use our mathematical skills to measre the line.
Next week, we will look at what the results show us!
Take a look at the photos we took.
