Comenius Day - 30.01.13

Last Wednesday the pupils at Ysgol Bryn Hedydd took part in a Comenius Day.  The pupils spent the day learning about Turkey, Poland, France, Catalonia and Romania.  The pupils travelled round school stopping at the different countries and took part in different activities for example: in Catalonia they created Gaudi inspired art, in France art straw Eiffel Towers were created, in Turkey mosaic Ottoman lamps were produced and in Turkey, Polish Stars were formed!

Everybody really enjoyed the day and we're looking forward to our visit from the other Schools who are part of the Comenius project.
