A BIG THANK YOU to all for participating in the Sponsored walk we have raised £312 which will be used to purchase resources for the department. We will let you all know what we have bought in due course.
Our topic this term has been 'Living in Rhyl' and we have had lots of fun learning about where we live and go to school.
This week, we have been busy learning about healthy eating and Harvest. On Monday 8th of October the school nurse came to visit us to tell us all about how to be healthy and what to eat and drink. We listened carefully to the nurse and in our activity with Mrs Desmond we made fruit salads-yummy!!
We were very busy on Tuesday too! We went to the local church to learn about Harvest and sing some hymns.
As part of the topic we did a sponsored walk along the promenade even the wind and rain couldn't stop us. Thank you very much for all the sponsor money given in so far and please do carry on collecting as all money raised will be used in the early years department.
We had a great day on Friday the 28th of September although we may have looked a bit silly as it was pyjamas fun day! We all came to school in our PJs, slippers and dressing gowns even the teachers!!
Wednesday 3rd of October was another fantastic day as we had 'Hwyl ar y Traeth'-'Fun on the Beach' where the whole school had fun learning Welsh at the beach the children had fun playing lots of welsh games even Dewi the class dragon joined in too!
