This term's topic is 'mountains', with a strong focus on Snowdonia whiich is the setting for the story in the novel ''Framed" by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The story is set in Manod a small village near Blaenau ffestiniog. After studying images of Snowdon and having already explored pre-conceptions of what a mountain looks like, pupils were given the task to create an expressive painting depicting mountains from thier imagination. The image linked to the theme of rain which runs throughout the novel. The children enjoyed the activity and were able to work collectively as a team. Look at our photographs to see how they got on. The final image can now been seen at the entrance to year five. Gwaith iawn year 5!
