Y HWB gyda Mrs Williams!!
What better way to end our first half term together than to celebrate our first class text, 'Gangsta Granny'
We had a very busy morning in the HWB!
Firstly, we looked at what we were enjoying about the book and which our favourite parts were.
We then looked at how to make cabbage soup, and everyone helped prepare our scrummy 'treat'
We also had a go at a tricky word search.
After break, we took part in a diamond hunt, where we had to find all the gems in the classroom. We then tested our knowledge of the book, with a quiz.
Finally, we played a game of a Scrabble, as it is Granny's favourite game!!
But the highlight of our morning had to be trying the cabbage soup. It was a bit like marmite! Some loved it.... Some absolutely hated it! Diolch Mrs Bowers for helping us to make it!
