Croeso to our school website! We believe that every step of your child's education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we strive continually to provide inspiring learning experiences for children.
Take a look at all the things we got up to this morning in our whole school Eisteddfod.
Diolch yn fawr to Miss Breese who organised this important event. With the help of many teachers, we put on a fantastic celebration of Welsh culture.
We heard various classes and year groups singing, reciting poetry and even some children from the 'Fun Friday' group performing with their recorders!
A special mention to our 'Medal y Dysgwyr' this year. The medal was awarded to Sadie Wagstaff. A very deserved winner.
The most important moment of the Eisteddfod is 'Y Gadair'. This is awarded to a member of Year 6 who has written a fantastic piece of writing, this year based on a fanous Welsh icon.
The winning piece was one written by Imogen Kulavuz! Ardderchog Imogen! A fantastic effort from you.
To close our Eisteddfod, the whole school stood to sing 'Mae Hen Wlad fy Nhadau'. It was sung beautifully by all the hall, from Reception through to Year 6. It left many members of staff with goosebumps and a tear in their eye!
We would like to take this moment to thank all those who took part in the competitions.
The winners were as follows:
Thank you to Shafaan Butt for taking lots of photos.
