Olympics....what athletes we have got in Bryn Hedydd!
What a fantastic time we had down the beach!
The whole school walked down to the beach as soon as they could and began the array of activities on offer! Thank you to Mrs Mutch-Williams for organising such a fantastic event and her son Chris for helping with the running of the day!
There were 11 different events, which took on an olympic theme:
Equestrian Event, Swimming Event, Football Event, Tennis Event, Hockey Event, Olympic Rings Event, Table Tennis Event, Shotput Event, Long Jump Event, Torch Event and Olympic Motto Event.
We then met up at lunch time to eat our dinner together.
The oncoming threat of rain meant that many classes hot-footed it back to school after dinner, but this didn't put a dampener on the day. We all had a fantastic time!
