Working with shapes
Year 3 have been learning about shapes!
We have started focusing on 2D shapes. We have looked at the names of the 2D shapes and their properties. Why don't you test us and see what shapes we can name! We know all the names up to a 10-sided shape and even four different kinds of triangles!
As part of our learning, we went on a shape search around school, seeing what examples of shapes we could see. We then completed our frequency table to see which 2D shape we could find most frequently.
The answer was......the RECTANGLE.
