There is something tasty about fractions!
My favourite lessons are those that include food and it seems the children think the same. Pupils were able to find fractions a 'piece of cake' after learning about them using pieces of fudge brownies. Pupils demonstrated their understanding and were rewarded for correct answers with a piece of cake. Check out the photos to see how e got on... they're sweet!
