Croeso to our school website! We believe that every step of your child's education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we strive continually to provide inspiring learning experiences for children.
On the 9th November 2011, parents and guardians were again invited into the school. In year five the day was divided into three sections to give parents and guardians a flavour of different subjects.
The morning was witness to 'maths madness'. Pupils were placed into pairs in attempt to solve mathematical problems with the winning pair completing the most challenges. This was another opportunity to both classes to mix and gave the chance for pupils to work along side different individuals.
After break was a demonstration of pupil’s knowledge of the Victorian designer William Morris and also their artistic talent with a paint brush. Both pupil and parent were involved and produced a beautiful display outside year five.
To conclude the day pupils were shown a news report as stimulus for story writing. Following the report and in theme of the beach school, pupils took to the beach to jot down ideas regarding their own reports on 'Godzilla' arriving on Rhyl beach. The results are now visible in both year five classes.
