• F1 Tachyon Blue Day

  Today was 'Blue' day in Ysgol Bryn Hedydd.
  All the pupils had the chance to wear blue clothes to school to raise funds for the school F1 team Tachyon.
  The scene around school was a mass of blue!
  Well done and thank you to everyone who contributed and Good Luck to our four Year 6 children who will represent us in the National finals in Coventry

  Our School held a Global Citizenship Week on Monday 2nd June. Every year group had a different country to find out about and look into.
  
  Nursery - Wales
  Reception - Brazil
  Year 1 - Egypt
  Year 2 - Canada
  Year 3 - Australia
  Year 4 - China
  Year 5 and the Hwb - Kenya
  Year 6 - France [and Europe]
  
  The ovens were roasting and paint brushes were in use because the whole school was busy doing fun stuff about their country, like cooking, art, sport etc.
  
  We all came to the School Service on Friday in the hall and we discussed the different countries that every year group had explored.
  
  Most of the children made different types of food, the food that was special in that country.

• The sunshine comes out the 'Bike It Day'

  The sun made a guest appearance today for our 'Bike It' day in Ysgol Bryn Hedydd.
  
  It has become an annual event which has maintained its popularity across the year groups.
  
  The children have all had a fantastic day with a huge proportion of the pupils in our School bringing in bikes or scooters.
  
  A big 'thank you' to Mr Dunn, Mr Owens, Mr Cannon and all those that helped run the day!
