London and the National Art Gallery.
After finishing the class novel 'Framed' by Frank Cottrell Boyce, year five had the fantastic opportunity of meeting the author at the National Art Gallery in London. In addition pupil were also able to see the original art work featured in the book.
The day started with a guided tour of some of the paintings with information given about each from a member of the gallery. This was extremely thought provoking and proved very popular with all the pupils. We were then taken to meet the author himself for a talk and pupils were allowed to ask questions about the book.
To follow the National Art Gallery pupils were taken on a cruise of the Themes showing historical and famous landmarks from London. Here are some photo's showing our day.
