On Wednesday 5th October, year five joined the whole of Ysgol Bryn Hedydd and went down to the beach. Our key focus was to look at literacy, thinking about listening skills, oracy and writing, as well as working together.
All pupils took their beach books and completed a number of different tasks relating to literacy. Our main aim for the day was to produce a poem relating to the beach. In addition some pupils took the role of reporter using the class camcorder recorded the days activities and the pupils response to the day.
At dinnertime, we all met at the stone circle to have lunch. The day was a massive success.
