Jubilee Day Celebrations!
The Sun came out for us today as we held our 'Diamond Jubilee Street Party' in the play ground.
The pupils dressed up in red, white and blue and wore the Jubilee Hats they had made for their homework. They were a work of art!!
Each class competed in a hat parade, and were judged by Mr and Mrs Cannon - parent's of Mr Cannon our Head Teacher. There was a great effort from so many pupils. Well done to all those children who took part. Prizes were given for first and second place. Congratulations to the winners.
All pupils and staff were awarded with a Diamond Jubilee Commemorative medal to mark the occasion. Thank you to the school for providing us with them.
Many Parents, Grandparents and friends turned up to join the fun in the sun. Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon so memorable.
