February 01 2011 - Hands On Learning.... Year 4 get messy!
Inspired by the recent reptile visitors to their class, Year 4 created their own animals and reptiles from hot and cold countries using clay.
They ended up with a variety of models of animals and reptiles including snakes, lizards, bears and giraffes!!
The models will be painted next week when they clay is dry. "We have loved using the clay today" said Abigail, "it was great fun, but using it is not as easy as it looks!"

Today we painted our clay models. Some models were more successful than others as some had cracked and broken whilst they were drying over the week. Here is a selection of the finished models. We are quite proud of our achievements!!
