Parents Open Morning
Today pupils had the pleasure of having their and parents and grandparents join them in the classroom environment. Our visitors were invited into school to work alongside their child and experience the running of a year five classroom for the morning. Pupils were able to demonstrate their painting skills using water colour paints to create their own wallpaper based on work by William Morris. Parents were also offered the opportunity to join in and complete the same task. After break a selection of maths problems were arranged around the classroom for both pupils and parents to solve. To finish the morning, pupils were able to demonstrate their ability in using the iPods to manipulate their art work and aid experimentation through art. This can be seen throughout year five. The results of this work are now displayed in the Year 5 corridor which has been recently wallpapered. Here are the photographs of everyone hard at work on 'Parents Open Morning'. Pawb gwaith gwych!!
