How many 'onesies'?!! Another YBH Sleepover Success! Feb 2013
Last night we held our first Junior sleepover of the year.
135 children from years 3 - 6 arrived at 6pm armed with their sleeping bags and pj's for another night of YBH adventures. Never have so many 'onesies' been seen in one room!
After setting up their beds and having dinner, it was 'eyes down' for bingo - and with the double act of Mr Cannon and Mr Pickavance as the hosts, the children (and staff) were treated to some weird and wonderful bingo calls followed by some great tunes - 'Bingo Dancing' makes for a loud and lively game!!
Quiz time was hosted by Isaac and Tia from year 6, and set the children a tricky challenge before they headed back to their classrooms to relax, watch films, or play games. Sleep was, as usual, the last thing on their minds!
Lots of sleepy heads turned up for breakfast at 8am, and after packing up their beds they headed home at 9am..... to, no doubt, catch up on some much needed sleep!
Thank you to all the children for taking part and behaving so well, and for raising a great amount of money for our school.
