  • Goodbye Mrs Davies! Thank you for all your help in our School canteen over 26 years!

    Ysgol Bryn Hedydd would like to say a big 'thank you' to Mrs Joy Davies, who left us today.
    She has been with us for 26 years, helping our children each dinnertime as they eat their lunch.

    Here are a copy of the school dinner menus that are being served in school at the moment.

    IMPORTANT
    Some alterations to this weeks dinner menu:

    Wednesday will be roast dinner day.

    Thursday will be 'Chinese New Year lunch'. This will be sweet and sour chicken and rice/ chicken and black bean sauce with noodles and prawn crackers.
     

    Dinners cost £1.90 per day.

    If you would like your child/ children to have school dinners, then please pay the school dinner money on a Monday, in a named envelope and then tell the class teacher know in the morning.

  • Read, read, read..

    As part of our whole school initiative, could we ask you to continue helping us 'push' our reading initiative.

    Within the school day, each child has a period of 20 minutes dedicated to reading.

    We ask for you support us by trying to find some time, maybe a couple of times a week, to read with your child.

    Your help is very much appreciated with this Whole School initiative.
