KS2 Sports Day
Tue 20 May 2014On Wednesday, Ysgol Bryn Hedydd hosted the Junior Sports Day. The theme was mini Olympics 2014.
Pupils from years 3 to 6 took part in well known Olympic events such as Javelin, Long Jump, Golf, Cycle time trial, Marathon, Shotput and Handball.
It was a fantastic day that ended with track races. Well done to all the houses especially for the winning house Deiniol!
A big thank you goes to all the staff who helped and Mr Vincent for arranging the event.

Forest Day
Tue 20 May 2014On Friday was our very first Forest School Day.
Children from all year groups were able to experience Nature and our environment within our school grounds.
Mrs Desmond, our Forest school coordinator, organised different work stations where pupils were able to find information about leaves, build mini beast hotels, research trees and den building.
The weather was on our side and all the children had a fantastic day.
Thank you to Mrs Desmond for arranging the day and her helper Molly.
