  • Wow! Look at how school has changed!

    Wed 11 Sep 2013
Over the Summer Holidays, our School underwent a huge amount of change!

To start with, a lot of the teachers moved into new Year Groups and as a result, decided to decorate the classrooms! Many of the areas around school look very different with new colours on the walls and new furniture.

Take a look at some of the photos to show what we have been up to over the Summer!
  • It's time to vote for our new school councillors once again!

    Thu 05 Sep 2013

It's that time of year again where we have to vote for our new School Councillors.

Our council is very important at YBH, we like our pupils to have a big say in what goes on in and around our school.

Each class, from Year 1 -Year 6,  will have one representative each apart from year 6, who will have two per class.

So, what qualities make a good councillor?

    A good council member needs

    • good communication skills
    • to be able to listen to their class mates
    • to share their ideas and those of their class mates
    • to be patient... (some of our meetings can take a while!)
    • be forward thinking
    • to be able to make decisions
    • to be hard working
    • to have confidence    and...... most importantly
    • want to make our school the very best it can ever be!!

So, if you think this sounds like you, write a few words down telling your classmates why you think you should be their representative and get ready to face the class vote next week!

You never know, it could be you!

    Good luck!

    Mrs P-G
