Paralympic Gold Medallist visits Bryn Hedydd

Yesterday Mark Colebourne, a paralympic Gold Medallist came into our school.  

He took part in the 2012 Paralympics in the sport of cycling.  He talked to us about how he got injured, how long he spent in hospital and how he learnt walk again and to ride a bike after he was paralysed during a paragliding accident and then go on to win 3 medals at the Paralympics.

We thought it was an excellent talk and it made us feel emotional!  He inspired a lot of us to want to achieve our dreams!
