F1 team nominated for DCC Team of the Year
Last night the F1 in Schools team attended a Gala Dinner for the Denbighshire County Council Sports Awards.
There were over 130 nominations from across Denbighshire in a variety of categories. BH Ddraig were nominated in the team of the year category.
Unfortunately out the three finalists we were beaten to the Team of the Year Award by Rhyl Netball Club but the children in the team really enjoyed their night.
The guest speaker was Daniel Caines, a World, European and National 400m Champion who competed in two Olympic Games. He spoke about his journey as an athlete and his role as a sports ambassador.

Although they were disappointed not to win they were extremely proud to be nominated and represent the school.
